The Shurflo 710ml Accumulator Tank is a water chamber which has a pre-pressurized internal air bladder (25psi). It is installed at the pressured side of your pump and dampens water pressure 'spikes' of up to 125psi, reduces pump cycling, helps increase the pump's life and also saves battery power. To test if you require an accumulator tank, turn on your pump and turn on your tap with a lower than average flow. If your pump switches on and off repeatedly within 2 seconds you require an accumulator tank.
